Figure skating is not the same, no real stars left. Nothing to watch now days and if I watch I dont remember nothing after. Old time skaters performances are stuck in my hart forever.

I loved his skating! So beautiful and effortless, and his flow was simply breathtaking. Plus he seemed like a really sweet guy.

@FroMDreamS Sandra Bezic said that at the 2002 Olympics before Michelle skated her exhibition "everybody here is on their feet, success isn't always measured by a gold medal". :)

He was so great here. Much more interesting to watch than Urmanov. As someone said "success is not always measured by a gold medal"

They placed him 3rd on the long at Lillehammer when in fact it was easily the best long programme that night. OK he wouldn't have won because he was 9th in the short, but that was much better than Urmanov.

I agree. This performance was much better than Albertville. He ran out of gas in '92. In this performance he kept the energy going much better.
