Man that opening at :05 is priceless. I grew up and will always be a Twins fan. Prior to 84' I never even gave a rat's a.z.z about the Cubs. But in Jr High that summer, we got cable. I probably watched portions of 50-60 Cubs games that year as it was so cool getting WGN and TBS to see baseball everyday. At the time, I didn't know the Cubs history. However, the 84' Cubs season was so special and the Cubs have been my 2nd favorite team ever since. Good bless the days of WGN and the Cubbies.

Padres and cubs have always been my two favorite teams. Had I not played pony league for the dodgers and cubs i may not have been into baseball. Those two teams at the time had superstations. My fav players back then were Tony Gwynn eddie murray and andre dawson
