Des Bader One Man Band

Des Bader one of the oldest members of the One Man Band profession. And probably the only one Bob Dylan ever stopped and listened for a while together with Tom Petty and bodyguards. That was in Australia. This clip was filmed in the small town of Bodø, Norway in 2004.

About 20 years ago, I think it was just before the Berlin Wall came down, I met Des in Wismar East Germany. I was just a young East German girl. Des invited me for tea with jam in his van and I took him to the island of Poel to meet my friend Chris Picha. He gave me one of those little prints of a water color painting he had done, I had this print forever. I now live in the USA, married to a Lakota Native American and have a beautiful baby daughter. Hello to Des if you ever read this!
