Cambodia: S-21 RESTITUTION EXTORTION (10of10) [KH&EN]

PURGINGS OF 1975-1977

The richest source of documentation for the study of democratic Kampuchea, and at the same time its most sinister legacy, is in the files of the center of interrogations of Tuol Sleng, known as S-21, including/understanding some four thousand confessions extorted of 1975 to 1979. The center occupied the buildings of an old college of the southern district of Phnom Penh. It is estimated that between the end of 1975 and the beginning of 1979 more than 20 000 men, women and children were imprisoned in S-21. With some rare exceptions, all were questioned there, tortured then killed. In 1975, the number of recorded prisoners did not exceed 200.

In 1976, there were ten times of them more (2250), and in 1977, not less than 6000. Although the files concerning 1978 are incomplete, it is probable that nearly 10000 people were imprisoned this year. Not more than one half-dozen are come out from it alive; for a reason unknown, the alternative imprisonment or "rehabilitation", usually used in China and in communist Vietnam, never was seriously considered in democratic Kampuchea.

The four thousand confessions found in S-21 are obviously not very amusing reading. Some make only three or four pages. Others are true files of several hundreds of pages. Invariably, they recognize crimes against the party, often in the form of a membership of services of foreign information. These confessions take as a starting point the preceding Soviet of the purging and Stalinist lawsuits by the Thirties, and the faked lawsuits of communist frameworks in Eastern Europe the shortly after the Second World war. Undoubtedly judging that the purging of the Thirties had made it possible to Stalin to ensure his influence on the party, the Kampuchean communist leaders used the same methods to be maintained with the capacity the historian who examines these files runs up against several obstacles. The first is its emotional reaction vis-a-vis so much of pain, with so much of cruelty, the destruction of so much of innocent lives.

There is no other race on this planet can commit atrocities against Cambodians like Yuon can, but still have perfectly concealed their crimes before the eyes of Cambodian and world.etc. Thats a very good trick of Yuon Angkar Leu/Cap Tren who are the real Magicians in circus! In fact, as I already mentioned before, the murderous-powerful shadowy Angkar Leu/Cap Tren were secretly hiding in the jungle everywhere ordered to the super-illiterate-ignorant Khmer Rouge yotheas and former cruel bandits to kill all Khmers are to pave the way for Hanoi leaders who were well-planned to send its aggressive troops to take full control of Cambodia in 1979 as a piece of cake. The exploitation of terror was the main way in which the Angkar Leu/Cap Tren enforced their will is to make Khmer really hate Khmer until today. Khmers are very kind, gentle, short-sighted/myopic and gullible. Chinese proverb: What you see is not a true sign, but what you can't see is a true sign. (Use all your brain to think when you watch a circus on TV. What trick they play to attract your eyes to watch them showing their expertise in playing circus of their daily professional.) Many of Cambodian Victims never ever use their brain to think about Vietnamese Hidden faces Behind Killing Fields. We only use our eyes to see what is not a true sign, but we never ever use our brain to think what you can't see is a true sign at all. A Yuon top commander told to the world about Khmers who are black never ever consider what they see.

I am deeply humbled by Nath (the survivor). He is still are able to talk to his ex captors giving them human dignity after the HELL they put him through. THat says a LOT about the man's humanity.

The Nazis SS guards also claimed also they were "only following orders", when they defended their actions in the slaughter of innocent men, women and children in Auschwitz. Hogwash! crimes such as this and nanking and auschwitz and those from all over the world are always covered up in shadow and dust to blind everyone it is humanity's greatest shames that seem to continue even to this day.
