2011 Bentley Mulsanne Project Victoria The new Grand Bentley. Replacement for Bentley Arnage

The legendary Bentley 8-litre was first shown at the 1930 London Motor Show, the first of which, an H.J. Mulliner
bodied saloon, was delivered to the music hall star Gentleman Jack Buchanan in October of that year. The second
of 100 unit production was W.O. Bentleys personal transportation and for two years from October 1930 the car
travelled extensively, accompanying him all over Europe and throughout the UK.
The pièce de résistance of W.O. Bentleys engineering achievements, the company proudly proclaimed that the 8
Litre was capable of exceeding 100mph regardless of the coachwork the owner had chosen, such was the power
and torque of the 7,983cc, straight-6 engine. To further amplify the companys confidence in the car a 5 year
warranty was also provided. This car represented the pinnacle of W.O. Bentleys design philosophy: if you want
more power, you must add more capacity.
The 8-litre symbolises the last big Bentley to be entirely designed and built independently by Bentley- until now.
The Bentley Mulsanne represents the first all-new Bentley to be completely designed, engineered and built by
Bentley since the 8-litre. Carrying the DNA of this historic model whilst being a thoroughly modern statement of
grand touring, the Bentley Mulsanne is Pure Bentley.

  • RR Ghost is much better than this.

  • @IamFreeRu Honestly you need to drive both cars and judge for yourself. I can’t make that decision for you. I can only tell you what I have experienced.

  • @IamFreeRu I did go to England in the beginning of June and I had a chance to drive the Mulsanne for 3 hours from Cheshire al the way to the Irish Channel. Personally I don’t think the Ghost will stand a chance with Mulsanne, but you need to make that decision before you would make that type of a purchase.

  • @IamFreeRu Let me know when you drive both. Sit in the front and back seat for a long time. And then we can talk. Just because the car is perceived more prestigious in other countries, it does not make it a better car.

  • how much does this car cost? cause i am probably just going to get a lamborghini

  • @Nunoelement I am going to disagree with you. If you can afford a Ghose, then you can afford a phantom. But, who drives a Phantom everyday? No one, because its more of a limo. The Mulsanne is a beautiful car, but its for Older men, as the Ghost is for younger men. You can def. drive the Ghost everday, but cant drive a Mulsanne everyday, because the Mulsanne is way too nice.

  • @IamFreeRu RR is just a 7 series pumped up. This is a brand new car. Besides, you only buy a ghost if you can't afford a phantom.

  • @bentleygoldcoast To be honest with you, I dont want either car at the moment. I am looking to purchase a Ferrari Scuderia, or a F458 Spider (When its available). Anyways, the Benley is a old man's car.

  • @bentleygoldcoast I see, maybe you should be caring about which vehicle I would like to buy. I am actually in the market to purchase. I attend Purdue, and like to spend free weekends in Chicago. I had checked your site for inventory, and know you have a ebay account, but that was before I had even seen your video of the Mulsanne. Are you really a salesman? It would explain your cockiness.

  • @IamFreeRu Which one would you like to buy? Does not make a difference to me as long as I sell one. I sell Bentley and we do have some Rolls in stock.

  • @bentleygoldcoast At least the Ghost looks like a exotic. Bentley will never raise itself to be superior to Rolls Royce. This car is a everyday luxury car in the UK, as Mercedes is a everyday luxury car in Germany.
