How to cast on using DPNs for hexipuffs for the Beekeeper's Quilt by tinyowlknits. Can also be used to cast on toe-up socks. There are several different cast-ons you could use, such as Judy's Magic Cast-on - this is just one.
Thank you, thank you, thank you couldn't have done it without this video. Although quite an advanced knitter I had never used DPNs before and was struggling with the pattern which is quite vague to start with. Nearly finished my first ever hexipuff.

I've also never seen the long tail CO done this way. But it's for sure I'll give it a try.
Is there an advantage to the 'normal' ltCO?

I've never seen a long-tail cast on done that way, but I really like it. Any chance you'd do another video where you're doing it a bit slower please?
Also, love the dog chewing away in the background! Stellar!

Wonderful video! Thanks so much for it. I've never cast on with DPNs before and this was really helpful.

Great video (Just bought the pattern, so it is helpful). I also enjoyed watching your little pup sneak into the camera view ;)

I have never seen the long tail cast-on done like you do. I really like it and will have to give it a go sometime soon.
