I tried flying a helicopter on a computer sim, if you've never done it, you have no idea just how hard it is. Thank GOD I didn't get the real thing first........

Hey bud, don't know if you like planes, but a nice cheap little thing will help you learn how to fly nose in. I have an Air Rage, twin pusher foamy with dihedral wings. As well i learned to fly with a three channel apache by Cobra Toys, the 9088. It was great to get the hang of nose in flight. I have a Honey Bee King 2 now and nose in flight is easy. Give it a try. warnher i agree to what Darthbelal said, i learn my heli flying on the flight simulator (G4.5, cool sim, try it out) before even buying a heli. it will save you tonnes of money, now flying the trexx 600 and it feels great

Hoovering above the cameraman is very dangerous ! especially as you are a begineer too! Have you ever seen the baldes coming off of one those things! ?

It wasnt above the camera man, thats the zoom on the video.
The cameraman was well behind me at all times. But yes helis are dangerous, so is paragliding, and motorbikes .....

This was second hand about 300 quid for the lot, but have spent the same again on new engine and repairs, new gyro( heading hold- see crash vid as I set it up!) faster rudder servo, numours rotor blades and tail booms ect
