This AMV features Prince Zuko from "Avatar - The Last Airbender." The song is "Rebel Son" by the band Survivor. The theme: Youth in Rebellion!

Zuko is a true rebel at heart, standing up to any who oppress him. Hot tempered and greatly troubled, he has little tolerance for injustice toward the meek. On his quest to capture the Avatar, he faces off against many oppressive enemies, including Fire Nation officials.

But my main focus is on Zuko's complicated relationship with his father, Firelord Ozai. (Plus a little bit of Uncle Iroh, Mom, and Aang.) This is ultimately about Zuko's path to redemption, and his newfound resolve to stand up to his father, after years of misguided loyalty.

This song is one of my absolute favorites. It carries a powerful message about holding true to yourself, fighting for what's right, and puts an emphasis on the passion of youth. Hope you enjoy my first AMV. Prepare to be inspired!

@teshanovic1 Thanks so much! Glad you like it! I did put lots of thought into it and it's really nice to know someone out there appreciates it! :) I entered this into an AMV contest but didn't win anything. I guess it just wasn't quite good enough compared to the more experienced editors... The song and story have always been very meaningful to me. I think the fact that it just matches so well is the best part of this video.
