Biography
فضل الله اویسی، متولد 1302خورشیدی، آواز اصیل ایرانی را در نوجوانی زیر نظرحسین تعزیه خوان وسپس حسن خان لحنی و استادان دیگر آموخته است. در رادیو ایران به صورت زنده مدتی با ارکسترهای گوناگون مانند ارکستر ابراهیم خان منصوری، ابراهیم سرخوش و شاپور نیاکان برنامه هایی اجرا کرده است. در شعر و ادبیات هم مورد قبول اهل فن است. تالیفات ایشان عبارتند از: گلبانگ اویسی، هفت شهرعشق و گنج بی رنج. درحال حاضر نیز کتابی دیگر آماده‌ی چاپ دارد

Born in Iran (1924), Fazolllah Oveisi (Ovayssi) began singing under the guidance of some of Iran's greatest traditional classical music masters such as Hossein Tazieh kahn, Hassan Khan Lahni and Hassan Taherzadeh. As a young adult he performed live with Ebrahim Khan Mansouri, Ebrahim Sarkhosh and Shapour Niakan's orchestras for the national Radio. Although he has chosen to live and perform in seclusion, Oveisi is considered as one of Iran's music masters, as discussed in the book of Mardan e musiqi-e Sonati va novin e Iran (199?). Additionally, Oveisi has dedicated many years of his life to poetry, research and writing. He is the author of Golbang-e Oveisi, Haft Shahr-e Eshqand and Ganj-e Biranj. He has recently finished another book that is soon to be published.
