At twilight on the last day of my Alaska trip, I finally reached my goal of seeing my first glacier (which isn't so easy to do in the winter since the access roads and boats to many are closed). It became a long drive along a winding and slightly snow covered road--and, yeah, I was pulled over by a cop on the way for slightly speeding (no ticket though). So it felt like an accomplishment to get there with just enough sunlight left to see it.
