@AccordGTR actually the number of shots to an enemy "hit" is much lower (unless you are adding ordnance fired by helicopters or other craft) in U.S. Military Combat is 1 hit out of 3 shots **soldiers on the ground firing at an enemy they are actually TRYING to hit** this does not cover covering fire but a soldier actually seeing and trying to shoot an enemy. in WWII it was around 1 out of 50 "aimed" shots hit

In Vietnam, it too 3,000 to 30,000 bullets for a US soldier to come up with 1 Enemy KIA

Today the number is more like 200,000 bullets per enemy KIA

I would say that too SANGMOUASS if I had not been in combat 3 years and in many shootouts. It is like the shooting range. You aren't as good a shot under pressure OR if someone is shooting back.

@beeching31 Those who were trying to wound lightly someone with the gun (shooting to leg etc) are already dead. It doesn't matter if he had live in chamber, or it was just toy gun looking real. He was threatening with the gun, that is what counts. Who doesn't take it for real every time are already dead.
