the thing about this sort of performance which stresses my attention span, is the way in which this "cover" ignores the feeling of the original song. There is nothing "dark" about this reading. Its fairly bright in rhythm and vibe. It isn't heavy... I get the feeling that they might not even "like" Soundgarden performing this song. I think there is something very important about respecting the "energy" or the "vibe" of a tune.
