@hyperguy61 Thanks for your reply! Looks like I'll be able to judge for myself pretty soon :)

So this is like 6 pieces together right? Now that I have the money to afford stuff like this, I'm considering some Buchla gear, but I'm a little lost on how it all interfaces or what components are necessary because I see that there are different units that do different things (waveform generators, filters, envelopes, etc.).

This is all awesome! And don't I spot a vintage 259 in there too? I just got my eye on the 222e and didn't think that much of the rings until I saw this. I had heard they are more or less a bit gimmicky. But this looks cool and I like how far from the synth you can use them.

@7thDanSound Thanks! They are as useful as they are gimmicky IMO. You can get about 5 or 6 feet away from the window on the module and they still work. There is a 259 in there , but I don't believe it's in this patch. Thank you for watching.

each time i see buchla work it's always crapy weird noises. i admit it looks cool design and great technology but for what is the most expensive synth on earth ...is it possible to do something ... different ? :|

just because they sound "crappy" to you , doesnt mean they sound crappy to others. I love the sound of Don Buchla's instruments.
