  • I still don't understand why old school video game music sound so better than today's video game music to me. It's not only nostalgia, i discovered this game with emulator and i still think it's better than toady's video game music

  • I believe you're the only one on youtube with this tune.

  • 子供の頃よく遊んだよ

  • I want a bass tab of this song so bad...

  • @SMAXZO I never said that, I said "it is not an important factor for these newer generations".

  • @TheLivingHermit1 So in other words, people would only like games that looks pretty but has farts for music than games that looked okay visually but having an epic soundtrack?

  • I'd like to see a rendition of this song done by a saxophone

  • @TheLivingHermit1 Katamari has one of the most amazing sound tracks I've heard in years. With the exception of Nobuo, I don't think there are even a handful of games which can compare.

  • classic. Neck and Neck with Gradius soundtrack

  • back in the days of UN Squadron and Capcom hits, i think music was equal to graphics, it was equally important in terms of the gaming experience. Today, music is only meant to suppliment the gameplay, so it sounds kindof impartial and overly-dramatic, also very rythmic with little emphasis on melody. Man, today i think with all the things you have to concentrate on in a video game that aren't intuitive, i think i'd just pause the game and listen to this if th soundtrack was this good. I miss 2d.

  • Cool Song RIP Daddy We Will Miss You

  • @mrnuage If you notice, in modern video game reviews (like IGN or Gamespot) music is not one of the main categories rated. They MIGHT mention the music throughout the review (especially if it sticks out like in older games), but it is not an important factor for these newer generations that mostly base their entertainment on what console they own (gives them message board and wii-hater points) and how the graphics look. To them graphics are always tops, everything else is secondary.
