Subaru STI loses to a Honda Civic

2005 Subaru WRX STI, stage 2 tune (350HP/380TQ), loses a race to a $3,000 civic with 230HP to the wheels.
Unlike most people i'm cool with losing the race, that i even posted it on Youtube.
Hope you guys enjoy, and watch out for the attack of the 'shivics'... they look like little rice boxes, but a simple 8 lb turbo can beat your ass!! :)

@ShanesAutos - Subaru has some stuff... civic just has a turbo, nothing else, and Subaru has a turbo... thought the Subaru with a tune would win... but it weights x2

@ShanesAutos - yes, i got rid of that muffler and got a turbo back system. i uploaded 2 new videos today that show the new sound.

hey i know where this is haha. 295 south? i pass that 33 trenton exit all the time. be careful, always cops on that bridge (or around there) when you slowed down at 2:00

@bacalhau75 : Yes i know, the filming part is always an afterthought. Or you encounter people when driving round, but never have a videocamera at hand ;-)

Still, it doesn't matter who is the fastest. It's the rush and to hear the sound of your own car or from the other guy. That's what gives me a smile! :-)

@bacalhau75 Wow. Then maybe it's gear ratios and where the peak power happens in the rpms.... I'm still a believer that the real racing is done on a track where even a stock Honda Fit could beat a high-horsepower EG.
