I was born and raised in the Phoenix area. I've been to the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum many times before to see championship boxing events, Phoenix Suns playoff games and rock concerts. But nothing - and I underscore NOTHING - I've ever witnessed in that building could come close to what I experienced last night in the Coliseum. The building is around 40 years old and the crowd was estimated at 13,000. There were young people, middle-aged and elderly of all races. It was electrifying!
