Sabbath Issue

This is my first response to the Seven Day Adventist (SDA). I shared that SDA seemed to emphasis "sabbath" as an important part of Christian life which Baptists in general don't. We, Baptists, often worship on Sunday or First Day because of Christians' persecution of Jewish "unbelievers." I am sure there are some interesting articles on internet that SDA is in error regard to "sabbath" issue.

Why do you not share us with the truth that you have been inspired by the Internet? Like I said in the past vlog, one cannot find one Biblical evidence that supports Sabbath worship conversion from the seventh day to the first day of the week. Yet people attend church on the first day of the week (aka the Lord's Day)

Be careful of listening to others' false concepts that are baseless, and had been originated out of people's popular customs to meet their needs.

Hey Anguscen, true believers didn't change 7 to 1st! ITs the fake "prophet" and "teacher" in 2 Peter 2!

We, Baptist, dont have 1st day as the sabbath day! NO way! YOU misunderstand me & the true believers!

People often confuse due their ignorant of actual church history. I did research & discover that true believers didn't change anything. Just they leave sabbath on 7th of JEWS' religion- Look Paul's comment in Gal 1! Paul is one you need to study and try find his teaching of sabbath?

Sabbath was established for everyone.Jesus said that before he was cruified, resurrected and ascended to heaven on Sunday. He knew his time was numbered.He emphasized people to observe Sabbath constantly until Jesus' second coming.

This passage is popular quote to prove we, true believers, MUST worship on Sabbath. Jesus said HE is the sabbath. "Man" in OT term often meant the Jews who believe Abraham, Issac, & Jacob's GOD! Moses is the PROPHET who God command JEWISH men to respect SABBATH! (4th commandment) Do you believe we MUST follow all ten commandments to be saved? NO. Just simple FAITH on Jesus who took Law to himself!

@deaflbc2005 Roman invented the "Sunday" Sabbath. It was the Roman day of "Sol Invictus". This later became "Catholic". That is why it is the mark of the beast.

The Sabbath begins when the sun goes down on the seventh day of the weekly cycle wherever you are.

SDA's assume that Adam and Eve observed the Sabbath during the first 7th day in the Garden of Eden and so, to SDA's, the first Sabbath began in Eden. But today, the Sabbath begins west of the International Date Line (IDL) in the Pacific Ocean & so SDA's are unknowingly breaking the Sabbath every week unless they can move the IDL from its current location to a new north-south location somewhere along the eastern border of the Garden of Eden. I'm not sure if you understood what I was saying. I meant that we don't have to sacrifice a lamb anymore because Jesus was that lamb. I agree with you on the living sacrifice thing.

Wow. Do you even realize what you are saying? We are commanded to give our entire lives as a living sacrifice! That same Jesus said, "Think not that I came to do away with the Law (Torah) and the customs, I came not to destroy, but to fulfill them." Matt.5.

What would Jesus do? We know what He did - He observed Torah. The only way to become more like our Master is to do what He did; like Paul said, "Emulate Messiah as I emulate Messiah."

Pray about doing Torah, and read Psalms 119.
