"Butterfly" (mariposa) interpretado por el trompetista alemán Horst Fischer junto a la orquesta de Hans Bertram del LP:"Horst Fischer And His Golden Trumpet" en 1973, este LP fue uno de los mejores de toda su trayectoria musical.

  • quel trompetiste un geant

  • @chkjns This is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thumb this comment up if, like me, you failed to recognize this as Cio Cio San's aria, Un Bel Dì, from the beginning of Act II of Puccini's beautiful 1904 work, Madama Butterfly. My mind is always geared toward instrumentals. Horst Fischer's trumpet sings to me as beautifully as any voice ever could. chuck

  • Smooth one this one, thanx for bringing this one to my attention Chuck, the ambience somehow reminds me of some Werner Muller. Very easy going, very subtle and the typical accompaniment of strings and choir, exotic, adventurous and epic. This is a true soundpearl.

  • He has the style of Bert Kaempfert, This is a wonderful arrangement of "House of the Rising sun. (Butterfly) I just love it!

  • Very good recommendation @chkjns this is very nice tune, I've never heard it before... must check out more songs from this artist thanks!

  • chkjns my friend, you are too kind :)

  • @chkjns Thank you for sharing, Chuck. I'm going to pass this along to my son's band director who is also a trumpet player. I'm sure he'll enjoy it very much, too.

    Wishing you a grand 2011!
