"Butterfly" (mariposa) interpretado por el trompetista alemán Horst Fischer junto a la orquesta de Hans Bertram del LP:"Horst Fischer And His Golden Trumpet" en 1973, este LP fue uno de los mejores de toda su trayectoria musical.
Thumb this comment up if, like me, you failed to recognize this as Cio Cio San's aria, Un Bel Dì, from the beginning of Act II of Puccini's beautiful 1904 work, Madama Butterfly. My mind is always geared toward instrumentals. Horst Fischer's trumpet sings to me as beautifully as any voice ever could. chuck
Smooth one this one, thanx for bringing this one to my attention Chuck, the ambience somehow reminds me of some Werner Muller. Very easy going, very subtle and the typical accompaniment of strings and choir, exotic, adventurous and epic. This is a true soundpearl.
@chkjns Thank you for sharing, Chuck. I'm going to pass this along to my son's band director who is also a trumpet player. I'm sure he'll enjoy it very much, too.
@claudeciari Glad you enjoyed & thanks for your messages. I would encourage people to click on your channel id for exceptionally beautiful guitar music played with the same soulful skill as Horst ! ! ! Ladies & gentlemen - you are in for a treat if you love the guitar & have not heard Claude Ciari before !!
