Devon Carp Fishing 20 - Digger Lake's - Cullompton, Devon

My first day session at digger lakes, fishing on the snails lake, which is a 4 acre lake containing massive carp and large ammounts of channels, bays and islands.

dont worry fella digger has left many scratching there heads, tizz a very tricky water but keep at it and you will get um, next time ur down there send us a msg on here and i will pop over for a natter, im only down the road in tivvy. good vid by the way...and rember it`s not always about catching. atb BK

@bigkips can imagine mate, its the first winter for most of the fish this year so they are going to be tricky to catch, but winter is my fave time for carping and the weed levels should drop with it.

will def give you a message the next time im off there chap, hopefully wont be long :)

Clark keep at it mate even if you blank 10 sessions when you get that run and land that 1st fish it will feel better than any one you have had before even if it's 10lb keep at it son !!! Be lucky

@twentypluscarper cheers chap, going to be a whole new learning experience, keeping that rod high and tight to stop them boaring to the weed, had a look on their facebook and they have had afew carp in there gain 7-8lb in half a year! next year the stock of 30s is going to be very interesting, if i can ever get them

@clark144 im more of a winter carper, should be out again soon, just waiting for the first frost`s as the fish dont seem to have really got there heads down yet. should be a good blog when they do. atb BK

@kingfisher4522 definately going to take a while to get ahold of this lake mate, submerged humps, bars, gravel bars, huge thick weed beds, sparce silk weed, a carps heaven and mine too
