An interactive digital dance installation

Oxford Castle Qtr
March 2012

Digital Prisoners
Naomi Morris, Neil C Smith, and Kate Willis

Performers
Sue Amey, Ana Barbour, Sarah Bishop, Naomi Morris, Sarah Whatley and Kate Willis

Drawing from the mundanity of prison life, the chores that prisoners were forced to carry out, and the idea that time weighs heavy when one is deprived of freedom, Digital Prisoners present a thought-provoking, interactive installation within the O3 Gallery and the atmospherically loaded Punishment Cells in Castle Gardens. The project is part of a Dancin' Oxford scheme to foster new collaborations between dance artists and creative technologists.
