Each October we're bombarded with pink-ribbon products, from lipgloss to shovels (really!). But what's behind that pink ribbon? The truth is, some chemicals in cosmetics -- including those marketed by pink-ribbon cosmetics companies -- might actually be linked to breast cancer. The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics is a nonprofit coalition working to get toxic chemicals out of personal care products to protect your health.

  • I will be posting this information on my healthblog and I hope that others are spreading this information, reminding women not to follow blindly advertising by the wolves of the industry. Thanks for your efforts in exposing this.

  • I'm glad these things are being exposed. It's bad business on the companies part. Most women/consumers just aren't well informed.
