look up how a search warrant looks issued by your local court. Then, if they have a search warrant, ask to look at it. You are allowed to look at it. If it doesn't match up, it's fake.
If it's a legitimate search warrant...well...I have no advice for you.

This DOES work. The car one doesn't. I actually used this one. The police came to my floor (I know. I live in an apartment building so right away I knew something was up) and they said a robber had done a crime and run into this building and they needed to search all the apartments. It takes two keys to get into this building through two locked doors, so I knew they were full of it so I said they couldn't come in without a warrant. They presisted, but I closed the door and they had to leave.
