  • They don't even show you the art of dipping paddles in the dip tank. You thrust the paddle in and as it pops out you use an A hook to catch it then hang it in the drying tunnel.

  • This is absolutely not how they are made. The handles are assembled in a handle jig which is a small machine which heats the handles so the glue dries quickly then the shaft with handle is put on the glue wheel (the machine you saw them clamped to). They use a machine to even apply the glue to the wood.

    The paddle face is machined by being placed into a platten sander, which is a wide belt sander where a negative casting of the paddle is pressed against the back side of the sandpaper.

  • I wonder if the person giving the presentation actually wrote the script as well? If so it is an amazing double header, worst presenter in the known universe and cheesiest script writer ever. Seriously, why didn't the first person who heard this production stop it from going to air?
