Romania is along side with you. On Monday 27 august 2007 the Ministery of Interior and Administrative Reform( MIRA) sent a MI 17 helicopter( crew: 9 persons) with modern equipement for the fight against wild fires.According to the press reales of MIRA this aid represents a proof of the good relations between our countryes. According to MIRA the helicopter will stay in Greece until the last fire will be extincted. I'm sorry for the victims. United we will win!

In Greece 23,9% or 6208320 acres are classified as forest lands, as recorded in July 2007. In 2007 by August 31st the total forest area burned in Greece was 666899 acres. In less than 10 years Greece will no longer have forest lands if the current rate of forest fires continues.

For 1996 on borders Rhodes, maybe yes maybe not. But for 2007 in Peloponnesos far far away from borders NO WAY my friend. At least PROVE IT. Dont accuse without any evidence a total country.
