Earth Hour, Toronto

This is a time-lapse video of Downtown Toronto during Earth Hour 2008. It shows the lights in the condo's on Lake Shore lighting up after 9:00pm. CN tower had its lights off as well, except for the beacon lights. However, the big buildings turned only their signs off, while all the lights inside continued to be on.

the earth hour is observed every alternate day in india...by turning the lights off! the effect is definitely more dramatic! :D

Wow, that's really cool! In the beggining I think I saw more lights going on than off as it got dark. Kind of sad, but at least some people took it seriously!
