  • F band-hopped thru amateurs who didn't share his taste/approach. he's lucky to find B/R who DID, as their then-more adv tech proficiency help his LEARNING CURVE (an astonishing 1 too). OTOH THEY needed his spark/vision to keep on, the pivotal singles etc (tho Q is WAY more than BoRhap, KQ etc.) Queen is NOT Smile just as Queen is more than F. Earth/Goin' Back didn't make Q legends any more than Green!

  • Roger $ Brian yoy are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @hippyandchicky Rubbish - joint effort!!

  • Great interview. Only wish it was longer. Only thing that would've made it better is if John Deacon would be willing to appear with them once in a while. I'd also love to know what they think Freddie would say about the music business today and things like X Factor. They knew him so well, I'll bet they could come up with some hilarious comments he might have made about all this. ;)

  • People tend to forget about John a lot. He was amazing too! Without him there wouldn't be 'another one bites the dust'- a classic. The Quadro all needed each other for Queen to work as well as it did.

  • 'Um...yeah, we had three 'Greatest Hits', 1,2,3.' Ah Roger, bless 'im. He sounded like a children's T.V. presenter just there.

  • One Word Covers this Band.........Legend!

  • I like the way she took a picture with Brian & Roger. Look the way the camera is pointing at 7:02...

  • @Robertg71 You really captured it all within just a few words. Very well expressed mate, at least if you ask me.

  • Good ending when they speak about the music landscape still in a state of change. Why ANY big name band still needs a record company is beyond me. To me, once you are pretty established as Queen obviously are, and with the internet, these guys could make new music, just as Roger did with his Unblinking Eye single and simply exclude record companies from sucking away their profits. Brian is right. How do YOUNG bands even make money? In that respect, they still need record company $ resources.
