I feel sorry for you to feel that people there seem to hate Americans. It is not true that Chinese hate Americans. It is American media constantly bashing China that makes the Chinese feel offended. Too bad and too sad that makes wrong impression about image of Americans for people from other countries. I would have the same attitude toward Americans if all I hear from American media about China is bashing and imposing.

Thanks for sharing your experience in China but I wish you can talk about your experience in China more elaborately as is rather than holding back. Like when you say you had a lot culture shock, then you stop tell what kind shock. . I don’t think it is not that people in China hates Americans. It is all the China bashing and so called ‘China threat’ going on in the US media that make Chinese people feel offended.
