@saxgroovez I agree with you.If you want to hear a great tenor sax solo in latin jazz listen to the late Chombo Silva and the late and underapreciate Mario Rivera.David phrasing is more straight jazz.

@YZDT I think you are mistaken in respect to Eddie Gomez.He was born in Santurce,Puerto Rico and moved to NY very young.He played with Bill Evans for many years starting in 1966.Maybe you are refering to Tito Gomez who was the singer for Orquesta Riverside in Cuba for many years .

@saxgroovez My friend, his solo has plenty of saboooorrrrrrr and souuuulllllllll but I think you fail to realize that this isn't his natural element but either way my man David Sanchez did his thing!!!!!!!!!
