@SynesthesianDreamer could not agree more. Single Soldiers, regardless of rank, are treated differently than married soldiers. There is no reason why an E5 whos is single has a much worse living environment than an E1 who just came into the army but is married. This is why young soldiers get married after meeting someone for two weeks... and then when the soldier deploys their spouse cheats on them and takes all of their money.

These people make it sound like they are helping SOOO much. In reality however, single soldiers have always gotten shafted when it comes to housing. It is why I am leaving the Army. Families don't deserve better quality of life just because they aren't single. It is illogical and forces young people to make poor decisions so they can live better. Top Army figures are a disgrace for allowing such social injustice.

I was with the 84th Engineers 97-2000. My barracks was on K-quad. Man I sure miss that place.

About time...I thought A Quad was the only barracks that was getting upgrades when I was there in 96-99
