Thank God. He's a wonderfull new Congressman, I wish he was in my district. I'm stuck with perhaps the dumbest lady ever and one of the biggest rubber stamps I've ever seen. We've got some great new democratic congressmen now. I'm pretty sure Wexler is a favorite and someone I'll support for years to come.

There you have it. What is it for? Petraeus says we are fighting to create stability in a "region that is of critical importance to the global economy" (because our economy is dependent on oil exports from the Middle-East)

I am so glad to see Rep. Wexler pressing on --- If you search Youtube you will find that LAST YEAR's "petraeus Report" on Sept 11, 2007, also showed Wexler deeply committed to these issues.
(The funny aside is this: Wexler was one of the guests on Stephen Colbert's "Better Know a District" segments a year or so ago, and Colbert coaxed him into saying ridiculous things!)
