This is a Phoenix gold EQ230 two channel graphic eqaulizer. One of the best electronics on this planet, powered by 12volts. You can filter out any bass note you want, or match the performance curve of any component

This product allows you to match the frequency response curve of any speaker. I had three of them hooked up to my computer to control 6 channels of surround.

one of these came up on ebay awhile back, I was outbid. I have an audiocontrol EQ I didn't put in my last install, the one with 13 bands and round stubby knobs, I think it's an EQL? I just use a 4 band parametric but I'm replacing it with a clarion 7 band indash.

This is from someone who competed expert 601+ IASCA in the 90's with a RF Symmetry, in a Corvette with about a $35k build. After awhile simple gets real appealing. A few knobs is all I want. 6.5 components and a pair of 15's.
