Satan and Adam - Crawdad Hole (2008)

Satan and Adam (Sterling Magee and Adam Gussow), with Dave Laycock on drums, play a July 4th houseparty in Oxford, Mississippi.

Gussow is blowing harp through a Kay 703 amp from the mid 1960s: 5 watts or so, with one 8" speaker. Here's a cool clip from a gearhead guitarist talking about the amp:

Personally, I like the inverted noir effect, dark interiors and a blazing sunny day outside. As usual you and Mr.Satan and simpatico; you highlight his vocals and guitar rhythms with slippery, serpentine riffs. I like the way you manipulate the root notes in their positions and use them as to additional percussive effect with Mr.Satan's inspired drive. You're a modern master, Adam.

Exactly!! That's what's so great about your music!! That's how music *should* be, at least to my thinking. listening to yourself, to others, being yourself through the music.

My wish is to become fluent enough in the language of music(namely blues harp) to be able to express myself with ease, enjoyment and coherence...when I see people like you it impulses me to not give up!!!
