MSU & Mid-Michigan protest Glenn Beck visit

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce paid big bucks for Beck to fly in on a private jet to talk at the Kellogg Center on Sept. 14, 2009. Apparently, some business leaders want to hear more about how terrible it is for the regular folks in Michigan to get healthcare coverage like they have.

life expectancy includes murders, car wrecks, and infant deaths. In America if a baby takes one breath it is considered alive and is documented as a live birth, in countries with socialized medicine it is often documented as still born if it dies within 3 hours of birth. This is to make life expectancy numbers and infant mortality numbers appear lower for UN standards. Ta Da, your "statistics" are biased. The US holds itself to a higher standard.

. Life expectancy is measured on a national level and includes people that die of natural causes like old age. It isn't a reflection of the Healthcare system of a country you half wit. How about instead of life expectancy, we look at how someone with a medical condition fairs with socialized medicine. How about prostate cancer. In the "evil" US you have a 95 percent survival rate. Same cancer in the UK, France, and Australia? 45 percent chance. Before you go throwing bogus facts around and acting so high and mighty, read a book.
