Migrating monarch butterflies gathering and forming roosts in the late afternoon and early evening of September 9, 2010, at Owen Point, Presqu'ile Provincial Park near Brighton, Ontario. See http://www.friendsofpresqu'ile.on.ca. Video filmed, edited and shared with much appreciation by David Bree, Natural Heritage Education Leader, Presqu'ile Provincial Park. David estimated that there were about 10,000 roosting at this location that night - mostly very high up in the poplar and willow trees.
