Omar Khadr CBC News

Omar Khadr is a Canadian citizen being held in Guantanamo Bay. He was 15 YEARS OLD when he was captured. A minor, according to international law. He was tortured severely by American forces and his human rights continue to be infringed. He was illegally interrogated with no parent, guardian or legal representative. American authorities should either put him through a civilian court or send him BACK TO CANADA! He is now 22 years old and is still held in the torture prison. May God help him, as He is the only one who can.

@DLarson1083 According the international and US law, his age does matter. Though children are held accountable for their actions still, they should still be treated in a special manner due to their age..dumbass. Go cry me a river, Islam isn't going anywhere.

it makes perfect sense his father sent him to fight (f not why didn't his parent(s) report him missing when he was in afghanistan) and the moment he pulled the trigger and killed a human being he lost his innocence (even at the age of 15) and about torture i dont believe him cuz a killer will lie about anything to save his own ass (the part where he showed his "wounds" he might of tripped or something) but its still sad to see someone crying like that but he should of thought b4 he left to fight

He was tortured, the evidence should be nullified. There is no proof that e killed anyone, no one saw him trow the grenade. There were other man in that building at that time. Omar was not sent to them by his father to fight, his father would NEVER do such a thing. He was their favorite child. He was sent as a translator and was caught up in the fire fight.

I don't know anything first hand of course, but I think that when you interrogate anyone they will tend to act either 1. angry and defensive or 2. innocent and pitiful and I am sure that people who are guilty are capable of acting either way. I am sure any police officer who has been lied to by any number of young criminals caught red-handed have seen them act similarly (I am aware Omar wasn't caught red-handed BTW). The interrogator didn't seem abusive in anyway.
