  • ok guys had the same problem you had with "waiting for device", I finally got it to work by:

    1. go to "Device Manager"

    2. right click on Android 1.0 USB

    3. Update drive

    4. Choose "Pick from List"

    5. Select Samsung on the left side and the very bootom choice on the right.

6.This will replace the Android USB driver.

  • If you have an issue with "Android 1.0" follow these steps.

    1. Download the samsung driver and install it.

    2. Go in to the fastboot option on the phone.

    3. Plug in usb between phone and PC.

    4. Go in to the device manager and right click on "Android 1.0" and choose "update Driver Software"

    5. Choose "Browse my computer for drivers"

    6. On the next window choose "Let me pick from a list" and then choose "Sumsung"

This is how I was able to get the drivers to finally install.
