  • Why not!!??Its a fiafia night of dancing.. Its nice to touch on other polynesian cultures as long as the focus is mainly Samoa. In hawaii I'm glad they honor our Samoan people by incorporating our siva in their luau's.. It about learning about the song and dance of polynesians.. We are all polynesians... GOOD PERFORMANCE!!!

  • Re: all the previous comments: obviously you haven't been to Aggie's before. This was just ONE dance in over an hour of performances. The REST of the fiafia is Siva Samoa. Don't hate! Appreciate!

  • @shebanish- the song is called "matou te pepese", meaning "we sing to you". The song tells how to say hello in Tongan, Rarotongan, Maori, Samoan, and Hawaiian and celebrates the individuality of the Polynesian islands. The dancer is doing dances from each culture as each greeting is said. Also having been to Aggie Greys I have seen the floor show and they do a variety of cultures. • Malo lava! :D

  • cheeeehuuu siva mai

  • @wayne127 box or no box that is my opinion. yes there are many other cultures however this is at a resort in Samoa and it is done poorly. if i was a samoan visiting and they were butchering the dance i would certainly not be happy. so think about it outside your box.

  • @Shebanish There are many beautiful cultures in polynesia not only Samoan. I'm sure you can think outside of the box. Or can you...lol. Very old school way of thinking. Wait... Maybe its because I'm young and open to things.

  • malo lava le sa'asa'a... i've to samoa a couple of times and aggie's fiafia night is good fun. there use to be a fafa that did tamure and it was so funny...

good job with the faarapu's... that was beautiful
