One of the disadvantages of riding public transport is having to spend time with the dregs of society. Do this long enough and you get the idea that democracy is a pretty bad idea if these types are the "people." In the old days (and in India today) they had 1st, 2nd and 3rd Class Rail cars--that way you could ride the trains and not have to sit with assholes (if you could afford 1st Class). All I can say is "Endeavor to persevere!" Still love your accent! Cheers from the USA
