@Mrbigsnow88 - My visa expired... if it wasn't for that then I definitely would have stayed in oz! I think about it every day - and still dream about going back - such an amazing place. But Oz is pretty strict with visa's I've got a degree and my skill is on the 'skilled occupations list' but i don't have enough work experience as I've only done freelance work here and there. Where in Oz were you?

@LemonyOfTheState Hi lemony, I love Australia too! =) But am a bit wary of their lack of tolerance for the how shall I say...darker hued kind. What they've done to the Aborigonies was unquestionably evil & wicked, sad thing is that basic paradyme is still part of the Australian Caucasian phychi! :(

Just look at their record of immigration laws & deportation if you dont believe me :(

@only4u1000 I agree - Australia is a beautiful country and for the most part the people are lovely however I was shocked at the general culture of 'apartheid' regarding the treatment of the Australian aborigines. You essentially have a third world nation living amonst a first world nation, i found it quite bizarre.

@only4u1000 I also was quite shocked by the casual attitudes of many aussies towards racism and homophobia. I'm no fan of political correctness but aussies seem to be at thee extreme end of the opposite spectrum!

@bob2me2002 Hello, it was my first take, although i had to write it all down before hand as i had never used a webcam before!!! I was pretty nervous. Felt a bit weird talking to a computer LOL!!! Good luck witht your vid though, you just have to go for it. x

Yep, that is how it works in Australia. Zoning laws as written suggest that an individual can't do anything but if some scumbag comes to town with millions of dollars to build some crass pile of shit the local government sucks up their arse.

Im so happy you have a similar perspective, its so blatantly obvious that others are simply 'blind' to the realities of -as you've so aptly put the "apartheid" system over there in Oz. Whats really impressed me however is how enlightened you are...most non Ozzies dont believe theres a problem over there?

To have ascended that racial barrier programmed into all us of from birth is really n truly commendable Lemony, wish we had more folks like you in this world. Thx.
