Taylor Swift, Wembley Arena, 23/11/2009. The longest applause I've ever heard. The video doesn't do it justice. It was crazy...the place was just shaking. Utterly amazing! This came after her (pretty much) solo spot of songs. She'd just made her way gradually back through the audience from the back of the arena to the front.

saw the concert in manchester the day after and she did exactly the same thing !!!!!!!!!the concert was amazing but it seems a little cynical to do the same "spontaneous moment" at every show - but that said we would still go and see her again

Yeah i've seen her do it elsewhere too. Essentially as an artist if you stand on stage just looking out you're (usually) gonna get cheered at. But this was something else. If you watch the video and see her face about 40 seconds in I think she was genuinely shocked. I think she got more than she bargained for, as this is the point where the crowd added stamping to cheering and screaming. Honestly - in 30 years of gigging I've never heard anything like it

This, was the most amazing night of my life. The atmosphere, the adrenaline, it was just phenomenal. The ground, was shaking, I cried with happiness. I wish I could re-live all of that night again and again. Taylor deserves everything she has got and I'm so happy for her :D
