Biskuits of Phantom Reviews takes you through Mystery Legends: The Phantom of the Opera by Big Fish Games! Part one: finding garbage in a derelict old building of dubious origin (actually, that describes most of the game...); how did we get here, and how do we get out? Find out--never and eventually, respectively!

*Note* The sound quality for this is ATROCIOUS. I'm so sorry. It gets better in the later vids when I figure out what I'm doing D: So sorry again!

Hopefully I'll be able to wrap this up in 15 or fewer parts.

  • Where can I get this game?!

  • @MultiTalent101 Hmm... won't let me post the link! Do a google search for "Mystery Legends Phantom" and access the Big Fish website that comes up in the results.

    Happy hunting!

  • Hey Biskuits, did you notice that the playbill in the first hidden objects challenge at the box office is of Wicked? Cool eh?

  • @glamgirlsg Sure did! I think I remark on it at some point in the LP, though I can't remember where. It's in my written review at the PR message boards, as well ;}

  • i'm thinking of buying this...what's the difference between the Collector's Edition and the normal? Just the Novel and the extra game?

  • @miep8675 I think those are the only differences; that's what I've heard, anyway. The CE is the only one I've played. If the regular version is cheaper (and the CE is pretty darn cheap), honestly, the bonus quest isn't all that exciting. One extra picture and puzzle and a few more seek-and-find games. I recommend the game, but only spend as much as you're willing. The bonus isn't that great a value.

  • @Biskuits I belive you comment on the Phantom's uber sexy voice(my words, not yours..I think) during some part of your walkthrough, so I thought I'd mention a fun fact I learned from reading one of this game's main artist's blog. The voice actor for the Phantom is Gavin Hammon. Also, the artist seemed to insinuate that the bizzare open ending of the game was left open for a sequel--or atleast that the creators had a sequel in mind when they worked some otherwise irrelevant tidbits into the story

  • @MultiTalent101 You can also find it on game house games. im not sure if they have the collectors edition though

  • Dont judge him for having a messed up face evelina! It's not his fault!

  • Gah! my ears! Remind me not to watch this LP with head phones on. Aural discomfort aside, this is a delightful LP. I dont normally watch these things, but your amusing commentary keeps me chuckling, especially the comments on Evalina!

  • thanks for reviewing this :D

  • @RoseOfPhantom (cont'd) You cannot use the new game code for the CE games, and you can only use it on your very first game, so if you make an account for the very first time you can use it. Depending on many factors, this game can be anywhere between 20 bucks to under 4 bucks.
