Here is a simple solution for preventing boats in Minecraft to slip away when leaving them. Simply build a pier and secure it with double doors.
Oh, and as you can see, i fail on recording videos ...

i hate how boats so damn fragile. I dunno if its been fixed in later versions (i play the 1.8.1). Its really frustrating when you are darnedly far away and your boat crashes.

@LauxRO They still break very easy, but they don’t slip away that fast, if you leave.
