My first band, Tall Poppies, playing a cover of the REM song "Oddfellows Local 151" to a sold-out crowd at the old Cafe Ole in Halifax, 1993. That's me playing guitar, front left.

The sad part is that most kids back then thought it was an original by us (we almost never did covers) called "Firehouse" - we usually had to explain that it was by REM. ;-)

i was looking for this song by REM, and i must say- this is not a bad cover. i hate most covers, this is not bad. lot of emotion and energy..god, i miss the 90's when even club bands were awesomely good. peace
