Personally, I've endured beatings on this scale, and sometimes much worse for petty reasons.

Now I have nothing but contempt, hatred and enmity for my parents and those who masquerade committing violence to children as "discipline".

@webgier That's irrelevant, you did not beat up a 16 year old GIRL, who also Cerebral Palsy. She didn't hurt anyone. She didn't kill anyone. She downloaded some music and games. Have you not done that? There is nothing she could have done to justify what her parents did to her. And this wasn't an isolated event. This had been going on for awhile, which why she recorded. You know me and my siblings got beat with a belt growing up, and worse too. My dad hit me so hard in the face when I was 14, I got knocked unconscious, and had the balance organ in my left ear permanently damaged. I regained consciousness when he started kicking me as I lay on the floor. I think people who agree with what this asshole did either have never experienced such abuse at the hands of their parents or they are resentful and want others to experience it too because they are BULLIES.

Finally! A response that doesn't SUPPORT what this prick did! It's unreal how many people actually support this crap! How the hell do you teach your kids to control their temper if they see you losing yours like that?! I get pissed at my kids sometimes too, that's natural, but I send them to their room. When I've calmed down, I decide on appropriate discipline, deal it out, and it's always followed by a reiteration of what I want them to learn, an "I love you" and a RECIPROCATED hug! Always!
