Falcon Ridge Folk Festival - Greg Brown Performing "Laughing River"

I will always remember this song. As I was sitting by the stage my youngest son - 8 years old, climbed into my lap and looked up at the sky marveling at all the stars. I soaked up this moment with a little tear in my eye thinking that this will probably be the last year that one of my boys will want to sit on my lap. Every time I hear Laughing River I will think of this very special moment in time.

Thanks for sharing this. By the camera angle we must have been just about next to each other. My son is 10 and was on my lap...I have the same type of sadness occasionally come to me. I'm sure our children will experience this feeling as well... sharing these kind of experiences with their children. Thanks again...I'll certainly be at Falcon Ridge next year.
