I'm about to get one, and am curious about the battery. Apparently, the one I'm getting comes with a 6-cell 66Wh one, but it is fully embeded into the 'silhouette' of the laptop. The one I see you inserting into the laptop has that extra bit protruding downwards - is that an extra option? Or is it simply an older battery model? Also, I see some 3820TG's that are made mostly out of plastic, while some have at least the lid made of aluminium. Which one do you have? (Exact model number please...)

@Th3LightCloud On my laptop I have 9-cell battery, that's why it's bigger. Battery was original part of this model, the exact model number is 3820TG-5454G50n.

Hey can you tell me how is the heat and noise with this laptop? im really up for buy it! :P

@Superfrankee Well while playing games in high settings temperature is around 65-78 celsius, but not over that on my laptop. I use high display settings except anti-aliasing is off. Noise isn't problem, fans are pretty silent considering how powerful this laptop is. If used in silent room or at night then it makes some noise, but even then it's not very much.

@Shine860530 Sry, you're wrong. Mac's are just PC's with fancy white plastic around them. They have older parts and they cost so damn much. The OS migh be better or worse, but the machine itself is total ripoff.

hello.. i have a question. i bought this laptop about a 3-4 weeks ago.. worry fine.. getting about 4-5 hours on normal usage.. web(tons of tabs).. songs(wmp).. excel.. words.. downloading... wifi on(and most probably working at full speed as im downloading a 1.4GB movie) and amd off.. bring to college everyday but its doesn't feel heavy at all. i want to know one thing.. wat the the little hole below the specs on the right?.. is it the mic hole?.. coz i cant find the mic hole.. lol

Best laptop for the price. I bought mine 699$ CAN (roughly 750 $US). What's great too is that you can output to two monitors at the same time. I have just posted a video on that. :)
