@MegBit I could be wrong. . . my vision is failing. But, I think he has a broken string. I thought I saw it flash in the light at one point. And at the end, it looks like he grabs it and holds it up with his right hand. That might explain the simple strumming. Tough to fingerpick with five strings.

LOVE IT!. HOWEVER... he used to do it WAY better, and did the greatest acoustic finger picking I have ever seen. He is slacking in this video.

LOVE IT!.

@LiamS92 Bluegrass is not always totally acoustic. AS you notice in this video Kenny doen't play his guitar a lot, mostly Marty playing his acoustic & just Marty''s voice. Marty learned this song when he played with Johnny Cash.

Marty Stuart, The historian of country music!! My favorite Marty Stuart song!!

Hey Thank you so much for this, I have watched I know 10 times in a row....just perfection..I dare someone to find a better band

I love Marty, and I love this version of this song... but I thought 'Bluegrass' had to be purely acoustic? Kenny Vaughan is one of the most talented musicians on the planet, but surely at a Bluegrass festival he should show off his talents unplugged?

I Love Marty, I heard him sing this for the first time at the Topsfield fair in Topsfield Mass. One of my favourite songs of his!!!!
This is at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in San Francisco, 2009.
