babies can't speak, but they come into the world equipped with a communication tool that is sure to get a response. A baby's cry may elicit concern, sympathy, frustration, fear, or loving attention. It's important to remember that when a baby cries, there's a good reason. Whether it be hunger, discomfort or boredom, that high-pitched alarm is meant to alert its caregiver that something isn't quite right. Let's trust nature, trust our babies and their perfectly honed evolution. Every baby deserves to have their cries responded to lovingly and immediately. They are NOT trying to manipulate, they are simply and perfectly communicating in the way they were designed to do so.
