there was body damage, rust and somebody had hacked the wiring loom to pieces for the ABS- I had neither the time or inclination to fix it- a LOT of the car lives on in the 90 quattro that replaced it and others :D

maybe. There's a few of us with 80's/ 90's- Phil (who owns the farm) currently has 4 90's- 2 90 quattro 20valve Sports (rare) and a 90 20valve Sport plus a 90 Automatic. All except 1 car will be stripped. Others are not worth trying to make safe/ road legal. It means the rest of us can keep our cars on the road where they belong :D
