Palin on Executive Power, News Sources and Couric

Palin was obviously not as polished as the other candidates who have dealt with the national press for years. However, she only completely bombed the Couric interview. I'ts sad she is defined by that as Couric obviously had an agenda. Why the campaign decided to give multiple segments to the lowest rated national news anchor who seems to have a problem with conservative women (think Ann Coulter interview) is beyond me.

Yeah I don't know how anyone could agree with or support this woman, and it personally scared me that there was ANY chance that this woman could be VP or president if Mcain died!

It seems like Palin was a HAIL MARY coming from the GOP. I think they felt they had NO CHANCE against Obama, and NO CHANCE because of negative views of Bush; so the GOP would have had a hard time winning with ANY candidate, and it was the Dem's race to lose.

So the GOP said "might as well have an OIL LADY in office!"
